NAME: WAU BULAN
Wau bulan got its name from the crescent moon-like shape of its lower section (bulan means "moon" in Bahasa Malaysia). Given the right colour, wau bulan apparently resembles a rising crescent moon when flown.[2

NAME : WAU KUCING
- The shape is like a cat from the behind
- When flown into the air, Wau Kucing release a high-
pitched sound, similar to the sound made by cats.

NAME : WAU MERAK
-It has a Peacock design that is not
bound to a certain size. Wau
Merak usually has a long tail that
distinguishes it from the eagle.
- The features of the Wau Merak are on the arc
which can play seven types of rhythm or sound.
Originally, it was played at night because it
produced good sound.

NAME : WAU JALA BUDI
- Wau Jala Budi is a widely known kite in Kedah
- . The tail of the Wau Jala Budi is similar to the
‘budi’ leaf and the word ‘jala’ refers to the
structure of the tail of the wau.

NAME : WAU DODO HELANG
- Wau Dodo Helang is a popular type of kite in
Terengganu, it belongs to the category of wau birds
- This wo dodo has the same appearance as the eagle
except for the decoration of its different kite chest
